She is surprisingly spacious with 6.5 feet of head room and a wall mounted table that fold down and out to seat two or four comfortably. With a good running 27hp Yanmar with less than 550 hours, a solid boat with a 5,000 pound keel, and an unusually thick hull. A newer set of mast spreaders with LED deck lights. A LED steaming light. LED port and starboard nav lights. Radar, chart plotter, Icom VHF radio, 3 anchors, 110' chain, anchor windlass, 1kw inverter, roller fuller, and a WindX Older Raymarine radar, reef furler system. Newer jib sail approx 2 seasons old 110% made by Ullman Sails, 2 group 27 duel purpose batteries replaced last year. Bilge pump is one year old, and electric head installed approximately 3 years ago with a 14 gal holding tank. Plenty of storage. She has sailed to the South Pacific and recently down the California coast from our previous home to its current location. She is a rare beauty with classic charm. This 1976 Downeaster 32 is one of 134 made in their Santa Ana, CA facility. She is an overall very good seaworthy boat.
