1994 Jaguar XJ6

Please read in full Up for sale here is a vintage 1994 Jaguar XJ6 Vanden Plas. I’ve owned this car for 6 years and it’s been well taken care of and in good condition considering its age and the history of these cars. It is completely stock except for radio/head unit has been upgraded to a aftermarket Kenwood. This car is really comfortable and fun to drive, this decision to sell was not made lightly. It has good pickup and speed for a heavy car with a straight 6 engine. I am unsure about the history before I owned it but since then is has never been driven in snow and strictly been used as a summer car, this car has little to no rust. Also almost everything works electrically on this car which is the Achilles heel of jaguar except for what’s disclosed below. The car has zero mechanical issues, it did have the engine replaced three years ago with a donor engine from a 1993 XJ6 that had about 5,000 miles less then mine. There are 5 current issues with the car: 1- as you can probably tell from the pictures the clear coat is coming off, this started roughly two years ago. The paint underneath is still good and should only require a new clear coat in the future if done within a year or two. 2- the passenger side front door exterior handle does not work( the interior handle works fine). If the car does not sell right away I plan on fixing it 3- the power locks are currently not working and the fuse is blown, I believe the short is located in the passenger door panel and again if it does not sell right away I plan on fixing it. 4- the A/C works but not very well and the fan switch only works in the high position. I have charged it which helped alittle but still not ice cold 5- the passenger mirror has a few cracks in it, I have a replacement and again will fix it if the car doesn’t sell right away and I get the time. The car is currently registered but not up to date on inspection. I plan on once again if it doesn’t sell right away to get inspected within the next 2 weeks when I get a chance and drive it around a bit. There is no reason it shouldn’t pass inspection. Also the title is free and clear. I want to make this very clear, I am not in any desperate position to sell this car. This is a means to acquire some immediate cash to help someone in need.
