Answer The SE846 Gen 1 earphones came with three sound signature filters: "balanced", "warm", and "bright". The Gen 2 version comes with a fourth, "extended" filter, which increases imaging clarity and adds an "airy" quality to the audio. The Gen 2 is also available in two new colors: jade and graphite. The drivers are the same.
