Partially restored by owner ( a former piano technician ). This piano has new strings , new dampers, new hammers and all new underfelts , back rail , balance , and front rail punching.The piano action itself is mostly original with some minor refurbishment. The exterior of the case was refinished in gloss lacquer over the natural exotic Tamo ash wood veneer. All the beaded trim on the exterior of the cabinet including the legs are made of solid oak. As a composer and a pianist I can honestly say that this piano sounds phenomenal!! With a rich bright tone it's perfectly suited for classical and jazz music making it a true artists instrument. The piano was rebuilt in the year 2000 and has been my personal studio recording instrument. Iv just recently purchased a semi- concert grand piano and need the space.
