Description

Vintage ceramic pitcher and wash basin set. Historically placed on bedroom washstands before modern indoor plumbing, these sets are highly collectible today as rustic farmhouse or Victorian-style decor. Key Characteristics Design: Features an ornate, scalloped rim on the pitcher, a decorative handle, and a matching fluted wide basin. Artwork: Adorned with a classic warm-toned floral motif including wildflowers, autumn leaves, and cattails. Finish: Cream or sand-colored glazed ceramic glaze with subtle gradient shading around the edges. The marking on the bottom of the basin shows the year 1985 lightly incised into the ceramic. This is a late-20th-century vintage replica made during the mid-1980s. The basin has about 3 tiny places where the paint is slightly chipped, but not broken. Blends in with the color.
