Custom “Skeggox” Guitar

“Skeggox” - an Old Norse word for a bearded axe, that was used as a weapon by vikings. A perfect name for a viking themed guitar. I built this guitar using Warmoth made body and neck. It took me a few different sets of pickups and control electronics and a lot of trials and errors to dial it in. And now I think it is close to ideal. Do not let a telecaster appearance trick you - with a rail humbucker in a bridge, this guitar has a real punch. And if you want a classic telecaster tones - there is a coil split available to you with a simple pull of a tone knob. Engage it and you have a single coil in a bridge. This guitar is built with the top shelf components, no cheap Chinese parts what so ever: - Body: Warmoth made chambered Walnut body with figured Walnut top and natural polyurethane finish - Neck: Warmoth made Wenge neck, “Wolfgang” asymmetric profile, 24 x gold jumbo frets - Scale: 24.75 (“Gibson” scale) - Tuners: Locking Graph Tech Ratio - Bridge: Babitz Full Contact - Pickups: DiMarzio Twang King Neck and DiMarzio Chopper T Bridge - Fretboard inlays: Abalone dots (matching abalone inserts in the knobs) - Pickguard: Custom made genuine leather - Custom made headstock logo - Obsidian Wire Custom Universal control wiring with tone knob push/pull for a bridge pickup coil split Guitar is in near perfect condition, with a tiny ding on the back edge of the body (see pictures). I will include a custom made Nordic Runes leather guitar strap. My price for this guitar is firm and it is way less than what I spent on this build.
