2003 Yamaha Blaster

I’m selling my ATV. It needs some repairs. It does start, but then it shuts off—I’m not sure what the problem is. There’s another issue: this ATV was originally registered in California, and I don’t have the papers for it. What happened is that a friend left it abandoned at my house and never came back for it. I contacted him to ask when he was going to come get it, and he told me he didn’t want it anymore and that I could do whatever I wanted with it. I told him I needed the papers to register it in my name, but he said he had moved to another country and lost the paperwork. The ATV was broken when he left it, and I fixed it up a bit. It was running fine at first, but recently it started acting up again. I don’t want to fix it anymore because I’m looking to buy a better one.
