This item is NEW. $400 OBO I purchased this for my mom and assembled it. However, she passed away before we ever used it. It can be purchased online for $615 (plus tax) like I did, but I'm hoping that someone who really needs this won't have to pay full price for it. I have all the packaging, and I also got the upgrade to a better/safer backrest. I also upgraded to include a potty attachment, which is still boxed. My plan was to use it to transfer my mom from bed to wheelchair and wheelchair to sofa. It can also be used to transfer a person into a car.
