Antique German Bronze and Pewter Picture/Wall Hanging

Antique German Bronze and Pewter Picture/Wall Hanging. This antique picture depicts two deer in a forest of trees (bronze), surrounded by a frame of flowers (pewter). Makers Mark: Musterschutz 1665. I don’t believe 1665 is a year, but an item or design number. Also marked on back, the word GATH, with the TH fashioned as a single letter. This is a German Copyright and Trade Mark symbol as I understand it. This is one of a few items handed down in my family to me. The story is of my Grandmother having an antique store in Antioch CA, during the late 1950’s, early 60’s, went to an auction/estate sale at The Spreckels Mansion in Russian Hill, San Francisco. This was purchased there. It measures approximately 26.5” High, by 23” Wide. And weighs approximately 16 pounds.
