I bought one for every room in my home and they have done wonders for my air quality. I had noticed all my vents getting fuzzy and I was Not happy with all the coughing and breathing issues. Naturally, in an apartment there's not much I can personally do about the heating and cooling system but I was SUFFERING...... UNTIL I bought these units. They are quiet on the lower settings and sound like white noise or a small fan on the highest setting. They can be set to run continually or for 2,4, and 8 hour sessions and have 3 fan speeds. if you wipe them down periodically they will give you a solid 6 months on 1 filter. you can't even buy a filter for that money any more. I REALLY noticed a huge difference after just 1 night with cleaner air. I searched for over 2 months to find the second one because I hesitated buying more than one at first. I thought the low price meant it was not going to be a high quality product, but I was truly impressed. This works as well or better, in my opinion, than some machine's priced at double and triple the price I'm asking.
