Vintage Slaymaker No. 55 solid brass padlock with chrome shackle and embossed 'S' on the body. Comes with two original keys and the original box. Keys show surface rust and wear. Lock body is in good condition.This 1 1/2-inch solid cast brass rustless padlock was in my 93-year-old aunt's home. It is a No. 55 by Slaymaker of Lancaster, Pa. The company was founded in 1888.This lock, which has an "S" on the front and a "4" on the back is working just fine. It comes with the two keys that were in the box; both keys also are branded Slaymaker.The box is in good vintage condition, except for one flap, which is no longer attached. Please see the photos for the condition.I am guessing from the box that this dates to the 1950s
