Description

My father had a massive stroke on July 4, 2003, and he passed 8 days later. While at our childhood home, I read through the newspaper - the last one he ever read that morning. When I turned through the obituaries, I saw this young man's picture. I turned the page, but something made me turn back to his picture. So I did, several times, and felt so drawn to him, I read what his family wrote. This is the most beautiful, loving, soul touching, heavenly and "uplifting" thing I have ever read, and it was when his family "lost" him (at least that is how I viewed it before then). I do not know how many times I have taken it out to read it, but when I have had my absolute worst days missing my father and others I love, I take it back out, and it centers me again...every single time. I wish this family knew what an impact this young man's passing and their loving words had on my life. I would not be here today if I didn't "happen" to read it. I do not believe in coincidences and realize the Lord guided me there, and I thank God they wrote it. I am eternally grateful.πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ’•
