1979 "Kites fly highest against the wind" Hand Screen Print - by Jean Valerie Egle Beaverton Oregon. This quote is by Winston Churchill and is beautifully illustrated with expert calligraphy. "Original Hand Screen Print Silk Screen by Jean Egle Beaverton Ore" stamped on the back of the art piece. Signed and number 29/75 with title "Kites". In excellent condition. Has never been framed and in storage since 1979 so colors are vivid. Overall size is 9 1/2" x 6". Print is 7 1/2" x 4 3/4". Jean Valerie Egle was a local renown calligraphist and artist whose art has been shown at Portland Art Muesum.
