1978 Yamaha XS650 Special

1978 650 special, about 13K original miles. I bought it from the son of the original owner, at the time it still had the original tires on it! Original Buckhorn handle bars, original Yamaha sissy bar. I'm the second owner, I even have a copy of the original title with lien satisfaction from Pennsylvania. Original Cobalt Blue paint in great but not perfect condition, no rust in tank. Ran when parked but I did hole the left piston while running flat out in the Turnpike. No bottom end damage, it was only smoking when I shut it down. Included is an almost complete full gasket kit as well as the swing arm bearing upgrade kit, extra complete running engine in crate, and parts as pictured. Bike has upgraded alternator and K&N filters. OEM front left side caliper and disk also installed but not plumbed. Feel free to ask questions. Selling due to no time to work on it and medical bills from detached retina and cateract surgeries. Had to take unpaid time off work for recovery and this will go towards bills.
