Made of good heavy material. The straps are easily adjustable to fit well. Is comfortable to wear Ioaded about 35lbs. of gear. Felt very comfortable, even though, I have a bad back. Plenty of room inside for more. I'm 53 with a bad back and I would recommend it to anyone. It would make a great bug out bag to keep loaded and grab, and head out if needed. Bottom line, well made, great back pack
