It was made by American Seating Inc. which is a company specializing in the production of chairs and other seating, including seats for rail transport and public transportation, schools and churches. Founded in 1886 as the Grand Rapids School Furniture Company, the company is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. The desk is green painted wood with a cast iron base. The seat is foldable.
