The overall construction leads me to believe this jacket will hold up extremely well. The CE approved armor in the back is a nice touch (it’s not just a flimsy foam pad), and CE armor is also included in the elbows and shoulders. For some night-time visibility, there is Phoslight® reflective piping that runs around the front and rear of the torso. This jacket also includes a fully sleeved liner which should keep you toasty warm on those cold days. One thing about that liner that is pretty neat is it can actually be worn on its own as a light jacket/windbreaker, so that expands the usefulness of the Paddock II as well, and for those that ride a sport bike, storage space is always an issue, so being able to wear the liner as a windbreaker will cut down on packing problems for touring. For days that aren’t quite so cold, there are zippered vents across the chest, at the biceps, and a rear exit vent across the upper back.
