A fantastic 1866 antique Civil War Era child's rocking chair. So striking! Colonial style, could be used for a child, that special doll or bear, oak wood or some other hard wood, cane seat and back, joint construction, hand crafted, 22" wide, 15.5" deep and 35" high, seat 17" wide, 17”deep and 15" in the height. In good condition, there are some scratches but sturdy, surface scratches consistent from use and age wear, chip in wood on the front left runner tip and also on the top back panel (see photos), still overall a exceptional mid 1800's child rocking chair for your decor. The arm chair holder has a crack in the wood, that can be seen in the pictures. I tried to capture the flaws in the pictures. If you need to see more pics., just let me know. Cane seat and back is in great condition. I will consider shipping at buyers expense to pack and ship it.
