Description

Visalia CA A high end Z97 build in 2014 that was built with all new parts from Newegg. The 3 main components are all original to my purchase in 2014. The system work perfectly, but it had developed a quirk a few years back where when booting from startup it needs to be reset once before Windows will boot, otherwise it works the same as always during the 10+ years I've used it. it has never been manually over clocked, boost clock works fine at 4.4ghz. I am selling after I have upgraded to AMD's B650 platform with all that goes with it. Mainly because I couldn't update to Windows 11 with the old setup the legitimate way. Didn't want to do all the work around stuff, I'm old and I don't care anymore. Second reason was I needed desperately to upgrade my CPU so that I could do my video editing and 3D software tasks much quicker. This old setup does gaming and modern tasks great, but it's really slow when rendering video and 3D models. I am throwing in my old PSU, EVGA G2 750W gold. No cables included. I bought a used EVGA G2 1000W gold PSU that didn't include cables so I used mine. Only reason I did this was thinking the PSU was related to the boot up quirk mentioned earlier, it was not. Afterwards I had always put the PC to sleep when I got off so the boot quirk was only something I considered during system restarts. I never did figure out what was causing it. I tried going from SATA to NVME, wasn't it either. Gave up on figuring it out, just started putting the PC to sleep, which was faster when turning on anyways. I am throwing in a CPU air cooler. I tossed out the AIO because it was pushing past 10 years old. It was working perfectly, but for the ease of mind I was not comfortable selling it. This air cooler came free with the Ryzen 9 9900X I got but I bought an Artic cooler 280 RGB AIO so I didn't open the box on the air cooler. I didn't pick the color of the air cooler either. I am throwing in five 140mm 4 pin fans, none of them make any bearing noise. 4 of them are red LED, not ARGB. ARGB wasn't a thing yet in 2014. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: EVGA G2 PSU CABLES M.2 or SATA DRIVE FOR OS BOOT ATX CASE I am also showing the before and after pictures of my Lian Li 216 case. A "went from this to that" showcase. I thought about keeping it and using it for work at the shop, but I'll just get a Laptop for that. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will ship the MB and CPU in the anti static bag in the box my new MB came in with extra paper padding. That box and the others will be padded in a single box.
