Description

Fender Bassman 135 head, made in USA 1978. Great clean tone and sounds great with the right pedal combo. I have used a couple different Muff pedals and various delay and reverb pedals …. I hate letting this one go. It's the 135 watt model, which launched in 1978, with an ultra-linear output section and some extra EQ on the left channel. The extra headroom is killer for bass It adds weight and punch through the low end, as . Into a big cab, it absolutely roars. It's great on guitar too, you can dial a beautiful and juicy clean that's great as-is or with effects. These are a whole lot harder to find than the regular 100 model. Model: Fender Bassman 135 Made: USA, 1978 (I believe) EXT Speaker input 4 OHM Speaker: none Channels: 2 Weight: 20.1kg Extras included: none **note Recently tested the amp. It sounds great. No issues. The power cord was replaced by the prior owner and the ground prong came out of the plug, so it is an easy fix, but I would recommend replacing the power cord. This sounds phenomenal. You could really push the volume and maintain the pristine clean tones. I’ve recorded with this amp live. It’s heavy and tough as nails and sounds amazing. I am posting a couple links below one link a song we recorded using this amp with my guitar players Ampeg. Replaced a few years ago. I can’t remember exactly what tubes I used as I’ve had this thing in storage for quite a few weeks. I believe the amp was manufactured in 1978. Besides normal wear and tear it was in a smoke-free environment and well cared for.
