The small ufo-shaped transmitter for the CT413 Indoor/Outdoor speakers continues the futuristic styling motif with this system. It transmits from your iPod, MP3 player, home stereo system, or just about any other audio device using the 900 MHZ radio frequency. The transmitter also employs Phase Lock Loop tuning technology which is designed to seek out the clearest connection between the transmitter and the speakers. Maximum distance between the speakers and transmitter is 150 feet. Using the speakers is straightforward. You hook the transmitter to your audio device using the 1/8" 3.5mm audio jack that you would normally hook headphones to. The speakers should sync up with the transmitter and you can even add two additional speakers for a total of four on one transmitter. A remote control is included in which you can use to adjust volume and tuning.
