THE CHAIN IS DETACHABLE, the bag has D rings so use it as a second bag or loop twice or link for belt/bum bag! This is the first time iv opened it and there are sweet little inner pockets for phone/lip balm smaller items, and a large zipping pocket opposite, I also pictured my other phone next to it, it will easily fit that and any small items.
