Well equipped 2002 Corsair 28R, well maintained and ready to sail immediately! Vini is the best vintage model of the 28R. This version has the low flush with the Alma arm deck. No doors to mess with because having an after cabin just gets in the way of all the fun sailing! You sail a boat to sail a boat. The open transom design is superior. There are very few boat lines as sleek as the Corsair. The squared off factory rails were replaced with "dumbo ear" style hiking out rails that are much more practical and stable. It fits a folding cushion perfectly and gives you direct line of sight on a telltale ribbon with the short extension arm. The long extension arm puts you way out sitting on one of the two ocean kayaks that also comes with purchase. The rotating mast has a line on it that sets it where you want it. We found it really makes a difference to put the correct curve to the leading edge. The "bachelor interior" is an open canvas for 3D printing a bracket to hold your favorite device or socks. The more I write, the more I don't wanna sell the boat. 😅 The dry storage parking space is one of the best at the Cabrillo Way Marina. There is only a neighbor on one side and the other two sides have small shrub areas. You can lower the mast while parked in the spot, which is very rare and unique. Not to mention it is nearly impossible to even acquire a spot in general these days. $17,000 for two guys would buy 2/3 of the boat. Buying with partners is complicated, but will consider based on the level of integrity of the individuals interested.
