Mostly that area gets covered by LaunchPad where application icons are placed by macOS, so it doesn't cause any interference while using it. B) Touch bar on right hand side shows purple color (around Touch ID area). However it works 10/10. If you can live with above, then this MAC offers a good value. Otherwise this one is not fit for your needs. Used in office environment and sold as part of business downsizing/upgrade cycle.
