Selling a Old Town Penobscot 16 Royalex Performance Canoe package! (Better than Kevlar) This classic canoe is in good shape with light signs of usage. As you can see in the pics it has a gunwale that has a minor bend in it. Despite this, it paddles perfect and is still one of the best Royalex hulls ever made. All the wood has been treated and new scratch-resistant beaching guards installed at both ends. Beautiful Forest Green Royalex Hull is light and extremely durable! Perfect for rocky Oregon/Washington rivers. In my humble opinion it’s better than Kevlar because of how easily Kevlar creases and spiders. Wood inside the canoe has been properly treated and comes with new webbed seats. Comes with 3 paddles (2 Feather Brand and 1 truly unique Sawyer Kids paddle with space to journal all the rivers and lakes it’s been paddled on) 3 life jackets (2 Adult & 1 kids). A beautiful experience compared to the rotomolded heavy plastic junk they are selling everywhere. A similar modern polyethylene canoe would weigh over 85lbs.
