When was my daughter to get a car very nice car very good price the owner was very very nice over the phone. The female she was just kind of like a little irritated I don't know just cuz I kind of went late to look at the car cuz I wanted my daughter to get that car for sure other than that got the paperwork done and stuff just the female kind of seemed like she was kind of irritated with us getting a vehicle there other than that the owner was very pleasant and real nice and the cars are very good price

I like this place.  I had a good transaction with them. Not sure about financing as I got my own loan before coming to them but the process was straight forward and they never pressured me.

I’m happy with the car and the price I paid. Going over the car mechanically everything seems good, so far no major issues.

So why four stars and not five? They wouldn’t budge on the price at all. I understand they need to make money. The advertised online price was honored but they would not go a dime lower. Overall it was still a good price.

It also seems they do the very basics of maintenance and getting the car ready for sale. The car I bought had a dirty interior and I found the tire pressure was low on the way home. Oil was dirty and a bit overfilled as well. Brakes were rusty from not being driven. I feel if they took care of those issues the car would have been priced higher. Since I can detail and work on my own cars this is fine for me. For someone who wants to hop in and do nothing to the car you bought then you may not be happy with that.

I think if you come here and understand what you are getting you will have a good experience. If you know nothing about cars I would recommend you get a pre purchase inspection (for any used car anywhere really). Overall good staff and a good experience. I’m happy so far. Thanks guys.

Great experience here - I have been looking for months for a 2000 Toyota Tundra 4WD and they had one for an excellent price. The battery clip had an issue that they immediately addressed, and after an inspection and test drive, I was ready to commit. Every aspect of the transaction was smooth, and so far, so good. Been doing a lot of front-end work, but that’s to be expected from a 25-year-old vehicle. These guys really saved my butt when I needed a work truck. Thanks again!!

I wanted to wait a couple of weeks before writing this review to make sure the experience we had wasn’t too good to be true, and it wasn’t!

After communicating online with the team at Modesto Auto Depot, my daughter and I drove out from Napa to test drive a few cars we were interested in. Roselyn was awesome—she really took the time to listen to what we liked, didn’t like, and what we were truly looking for. After we test drove the cars we were interested in, Roselyn showed us a car that was a better fit for us after hearing what we were looking for. This car ended up checking every box we needed and was perfectly in our price range!

The pricing was 100% fair. The cars we originally came to see were already in the top 1% best-priced listings within 100 miles—and I out on that kinda stuff. I won’t claim we got the absolute lowest price possible, but we left feeling great about the deal, the car, and the overall service.

Roselyn’s friendly demeanor, her willingness to go the extra mile and find what really worked for our family made us feel like more than just another sale. She struck the perfect balance between being helpful and giving us space—never pushy, never “salesy”. It was a genuinely refreshing experience.

Highly recommend these guys. Go buy a car from Roselyn! Thanks again to everyone at Modesto Auto Depot for a great experience.

I called American Auto Depot because after looking everywhere for a Toyota rav4
they had 'the one' that I wanted. iykyk 😅
so I call and talked to rosalin, super sweet
and down to earth. she recommended getting pre-approved over the phone and had everything ready before we even left the house to get there. saved us a bunch of time and if you've got kids that run around when you go places then you understand how important that is. after getting there it was over quickly. my wife took the rav for a quick drive around the block and we were signing papers with Erin(hope I spelled that right).
great folks down there at the Yosemite location..! this is a family run business
and that's exactly how you get treated 👏
