These birds passed from natural causes. They were not bred to be made into a taxidermy specimen nor were they “extinguished” for this or any other purpose. Beautiful work done by taxidermist! Crow skull in excellent condition and mounted on wood by an acrylic stand. The lower beak still naturally moves up and down with no issues. This was a display item only and hardly ever touched or handled. Such an interesting piece to own. Good example of science, the interworking of animals and the wonder of life for a child.
