Vintage Noritake Nippon Toki Kaisha Bone China Mandarin Ducks Figurines (pair).

Noritake Mandarin ducks are absolutely breathtaking. Delicately crafted and painted, they would be beautiful showcased on your shelf. They are decorated in soft browns and buff with pink feet and bills. This quality of the bone china in phenomenal and feels wonderful to the touch. The male duck measures approximately 8 ¼” long, 5” tall, and 3 ½” wide; the female is approximately 6 ½’ long, 3 1/8” wide and 2 ¾” tall. On the tips of the bills white paint highlights the bills, but in the photos, it may look like chips. On the tip of one of the male’s wing feathers is a tiny white spot which appears to be a decorating flaw, since it feels like it’s under the glaze. From the mark on the bottom, these are probably from the 1920s or very early 1930s. They still retain their original foil stickers. These are truly special pieces! These are priced as a pair – and it is hard to find both birds as a set. Sold as is. Please look at the pictures.
