Description

Whether you're pruning low-hanging branches or trimming up high, cutting performance is key. The gasoline-powered STIHL® HT 101 allows you to quickly adjust between 7.5 - 11.5 ft. shaft lengths to bring down those hard-to-reach branches. Even at full extension, this pruner is easy to control and feels well-balanced in hand. **Powerhead and gearbox are in perfect working condition** Picked this up in a partial trade from a gentleman who had suffered a massive heart attack about a year ago and a half ago. He never ran it hard and always stored it inside his garage. Since the heart attack, he hasn't been able to do any type of manual labor. And as a result of this unit sitting for the past year, and never being started/ran, the fuel lines need to be replaced. And it MAY or MAY NOT need a new carborator. Either way, replacement carb is cheap and you won't know if it needs to be done until after you replace the fuel lines. Average cost to have a professional replace the fuel lines is just $25-$35. I have put a new fuel cap on this unit. As well as a new oil fill cap on opposite (cutting) end. Also replaced the spark plug with brand new one. And spent a few hours cleaning it up some. This unit was over $800 when he bought it new back then. Now, you can expect to pay over $600 for a comparable model at a Stihl dealership. So $340 is more than reasonable for anyone in need of a high end pole saw.
