Vintage ZMG Furniture Thonet-Style Bentwood Armchairs Set Of 2

These ZMG thonet-style bentwood armchairs, resemble models like the Thonet No. 18 or similar bentwood designs featuring a curved outer and inner hoop backrest and upholstered seats.  The chairs exhibit characteristic bentwood construction, with distinctively curved backrests and arms, and bentwood supports for the legs. The seats are upholstered with a floral pattern, adding a decorative element to the classic bentwood frame.  Wear includes a couple splits, including a loose arm. These are lovely for immediate display or repair, refinish and resell for a lot! 
These chairs are inspired by the iconic bentwood furniture pioneered by Michael Thonet in the mid-19th century. Thonet revolutionized furniture making with his innovative steam-bending technique for wood, allowing for lightweight, durable, and mass-producible designs.
