It is one of the best Tesla Model 3 accessories for keeping your license plate holder legal with no drilling required. Removable In many states, you need a front plate on your Tesla, but that does not mean you have to drill it in permanently. The Platypus is designed to fit the existing port on the front bumper of the Model 3 for model years from 2017 to 2023. This method of installing the front plate is common and legal in all states that require front license plates. At times when the plate is not needed, it can be removed easily, leaving no trace that it was ever there. Extension Arm for Precision Fit This kit uses an Extension Arm in order to fine-tune the placement of your plate mount to avoid a fog light or other bumper feature on your Tesla Model 3 2017-2023. To use the extension arm, first screw in the aluminum stud, keeping in mind the thread is left-handed, then bolt the extension arm to it.
