Description
This beautiful, custom, hand-carved wooden walking stick is covered with Native American Indian designs in a “totem” style fashion. It was made on the Cherokee Reservation in Tahlequah, OK – the capital of the Cherokee Nation, and is unique – so you’ll never find another quite like it. It’s in fabulous condition. Carved up & down along it are individual American Indian scenes/characters/animals. The primary “totem” carvings are: • Headstock: Hawk overseeing everything • Below the hawk: Indian Chief • Below the Chief: Wolf Elsewhere around are carved visages of other spiritual animals and Indian heritage scenes: • Buffalo • Ram • Coyote • Teepee settlements • Pueblo cliff dwellings • Feathers (several intertwined throughout the design) The walking stick has a rubber foot affixed to it. That’s its only modern accommodation. It also has a braided wrist strap with beads on the end so you don’t drop it. This is great walking stick for any hiker who is into Native American Indian heritage, or as a gift for someone spiritually attuned with the Native American Indian culture.
