I have before you a Ludwig Supraphonic chrome snare with 10 bowtie lugs and Chicago Illinois keystone badge. After some research and with some friendly info from a fellow OfferUp member I wilk be able to give y'all my take on this unique snare. Though Acrolites have only 8 lugs there are a few exceptions but not many. I guess that what I have here is indeed a 10 lug Supraphonic snare that was assemble in Chicago prior to their move to Monroe NC. The Chicago badge proves that. Instead of Imperial lugs they might have ran out and used these left over bowtie lugs. I'm guessing it's a mid 80s piece. Whatever the case, it's a chrome and highly pitted snare and it's got character. Price will remain the same OBO.. If you get this here snare you'll have great sounding music along with a great conversational piece.
