My Mom bought it used for me off of Mercari since other MacBook Pro finally after 10year took its final bow and it's required for school to be able to handle all the coding and that.. that I do.. but when I received it and turned it on it has a Activation lock.. I've been told by many people you can bypass/override it by uninstalling OS and installing new OS but Im not nearly computer savvy as I should be on Apple Products but I know there's plenty of people out there that are and know exactly what to do.. I just ended up buying a new one and decided to post this one here and hopefully get it to someone for cheap and make them happy.
