Description

My cousin used this in a Pink Floyd tribute project and no longer needs it so he gave it to me for some work I helped him with. Not sure of the pedigree of the parts, he said it's just a "partscaster" or a "mutt", and was put together specifically for the PF tribute gigs. It has modern style tuners, the classic black pickguard with the aged white knobs and pickup covers. The tone knobs are wired to the neck and bridge pickups, respectively, so that the treble can be cut down especially on the bright bridge pickup. The middle pickup is hot and has staggered polepieces. All 3 pickups have the same polarity, and a dummy coil was added to the circuit to cut down on 60 cycle hum while still keeping the Stratocaster sound. Plays well and sounds great. Just selling because I'm not a strat player and I hate to see it just lying around not getting used. Would also consider trading for an Epiphone SG, even one of the cheaper bolt neck models.
