If you love the idea of having practical storage canisters on your countertop that have a 100 years of history behind them, and could tell you a century worth of stories if they could speak, with a beautiful colorway in your own kitchen, then these might just be some pieces you can't pass up. These were made in Germany after World War I during the Weimar Republic in a time when the nation was experiencing an incredible change from the most wealthy bureaucrat to the lowest citizen. Oh, if they could speak... The set is in exceptional condition with the one exception being the sugar canister which had a crack then repair (shkon in the second to last photo). I am not even counting that one in regard to the price. You may have it with the set if you want it. Certainly you could have modern canisters from Walmart. But they would not have the character these ones offer.
