Need to sell asap,, no room in storage his! This exact chair and style year sells for over 1000$. There are many ways to check this plus got authentication from a seasoned furniture maker. Quite easy to confirm with the way its made and the hand woven cane us distinct and perfect still which is so rare. What we have is a mid century lewittes cane wing backed chair. The cane has managed to survive all these years in perfect shape. Was able to sand and stain to a beautiful dark honey color for the wood and finish with clear gloss enamel. Using the original seat and cushion I used a black modern leather to show off the great wood and cane and have it fit into any home or space. Please understand these are extremely hard to find and I am wood worker not a fabric worker, so the fabric is not permanently attached only held by half way inserted staples as I think whoever buys this piece may want the fabric professionally performed or color changed and I wanted this easy to do for them, not the case when I got the chair.
