Vintage 5th Anniversary Enamel Snow White & 7 Dwarfs (Error Set)

NEVER DISPLAYED BRAND NEW WALT DISNEY CLASSICS COLLECTION 5TH ANNIVERSARY PRODUCTION MARK PIN SET (Error Set) Every Walt Disney Classics Collection (WDCC) sculpture/figurine bears a backstamp with a production year mark. The production mark represents the calendar year a particular piece was made. All production marks symbolize major milestones in Disney history. This pin set commemorates the first five years of production marks. Every WDCC dealer received a certain number of sets based on sales. It is considered an error set as the "d" in the word "Edition" on the back of the Treble Clef and Trowel pins is missing. Instead of imprinting a "d" there is an empty space. After running off a limited number of sets, the error was eventually caught and corrected on future sets. Each pin set has a Limited Edition of 30,000. For 1992, the first year of production, a steamboat wheel mark was featured which honors Mickey's debut in Steamboat Willie. For 1993, the treble clef was featured which symbolized the music in Silly Symphonies. For 1994, the dancing flower was featured which represented the first color cartoon, Flowers and Trees. For 1995, the trowel represented the cartoon, The Three Little Pigs. For 1996, the sailor's hat represented Donald Duck's debut in The Wise Little Hen. This is a complete set and considered an error set. Pin set comes to you in an original blue velveteen, hinged box. Only opened and removed for these photos. BRAND NEW!
