If this price doesn’t get the car sold, I will keep it. 2019 Dodge Charger Pursuit AWD with the 5.7L HEMI V8. Ex-police vehicle with no leftover equipment or decals. Clean title in hand, 144,500 miles. Runs and drives strong, all-wheel drive great for PNW weather. There is a CEL returning code P3449. A faulty MDS solenoid (cylinder 7). These HEMI’s are sticklers about their oil health, and when the oil is older/dirty, these solenoids can stick, throwing a code. Often an oil change will remove this check engine light, but worst case scenario you’ve got to replace this solenoid. Any capable at home mechanic could perform this $70 repair simply by removing the intake manifold and finding the MDS solenoid located underneath of it.
