This A2B Metro Electric Bike is a smooth designed ebike that can reach speeds of up to 20mph, and go even faster when you pedal. Unlike many other ebikes on the market the Metro has the option to add a second battery (either in the frame or on the rear rack) this enables you to double your range. If using one battery it is possible to travel up to 20 miles on a single charge, and if you have two batteries the Metro will assist you up to 40 miles (distance varies depending on the weight of the rider and riding conditions). The Metro uses lithium ion batteries allowing for easy recharging. Simply plug the charger into any standard outlet and connect it to the charge port on the bike or your portable rear rack battery. After two hours your battery will be charged to 80% of its capacity. To complete a full charge will take between 3-4 hours. The Metro is equipped with a throttle and pedals both of which can be used to control your speed. If you feel like cruising - twist the throttle to set your pace. This A2B has just finished being totally reconditioned, with brand new OEM A2B motor, new tires all all new external controller. This updated motor has tons of power and delivers up to 50 Nm of torque which will propel you with ease from a standing start in traffic to a cruising speed or will help you navigate hills between you and your destination.
