Description

Vintage Astatic D-104 G Model. Fantastic " lollipop" table microphone. Fun for decor, not sure if it works. Nice piece for the collector. Chrome and mottled grey metal "G" stand. The chrome side piece pushes in to talk and springs back to listen. The Astatic model D-104 became known for its high frequency response that contributed to better communications audio quality. The microphone could be as early as 1945 to around the 1960s. A solid-state amplifier was added into the "G" stand in the 1960s. The D-104 was often used by CB radio hobbyists and vintage amateur radio enthusiasts as part of their operating activities. Please message me with any questions. Measurements- Approx 12 inches tall. The base thickness is about 3/4 inch on the edge. The base is a little under 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Accepting all reasonable offers! I SHIP SAME DAY/NEXT DAY!
