Roland JV-880 Synthesizer Module

In excellent condition. The very best sounding JV synth from Roland. Has the most rich, crispy, and full sound out of all the JV and XV synths. Only selling because I have some spares, otherwise would not let this secret weapon of a gem go. Two units available and in superb shape both cosmetically and functionally. Badass and resonant quote from Bob Hope from vintage synth - a producer who gets it: “I owned the Jv880 , jd800 , Jv1080 , Jv2080 , Xv5080 and of all of them the Jv880 has the richest and most warm and deep sound .Many say no it doenst and they are deaf and stupid , really , i worked in sound and engineering 30 years and mixed many albums and slowly the Roland romplers got worse and worse. The hi end on them constantly needs cutting due to digital brittleness and youa re way way better with the Jv80 ( i use 5 with different cards in them ) The mix from 5 of those through an analogue mixer recorded live to tape is insane , the Jv1080 and later models wont come near it , its a very magic combination, The jv880 just has a very very nice instant good sound , reminds me of the old Roland S750 sampler sound , big , warm , rich , instantly ' right ' Then they just got more and more clean and thin and brittle as they developed new models and upped the spec and stuff .
