Klipsch RB-35 Bookshelf Speakers

Beautiful and harder to find Klipsch RB – 35 Bookshelf Speakers in great condition. These feature the large 8 inch copper mid-woofer and 1” aluminum tweeter with the square Traxtric horn.  The RB-35 is a large Bookshelf speaker designed for massive sound output for both movies and home theater. With a 96 DB efficiency rating they are very easy to drive from any amplifier or receiver. Frequency range is 45 Hz to 25 kHz which works great for small to medium size rooms, but mated to a good Subwoofer they can give a theater like performance in just about any size room.  Tube gear love these speakers and can create pure magic 🙂 The sound signature is very clean, crisp and detailed and doesn’t lose composure as volume increases.  I have done a couple small upgrades to raise sound quality, including replacing the Ferrous metal binding post nuts and washers with high-quality non magnetic stainless steel improving signal transfer. Also, I have added a significant amount of internal padding and stuffing to help with resonance control. There is a noticeable improvement in sound quality vs factory. These have been completely disassembled and every part checked, cleaned and reassembled ensuring proper playback for the next owner. I have applied 2 coats of high quality lemon oil to the cabinet giving them a nice shine. Cosmetically they only have a minor scuff here and there and a couple small veneer ripples on the front near the baffle but nothing noticeable when installed. Grills are included and have been cleaned and conditioned. You’ll be getting a set of the sought after RB-35’s that sound sound better than factory stock for about the same price as a factory pair.
