Description

2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited (turbo model) Miles: ~ 75,000 Engine: 2.5L turbo Transmission: 5EAT (automatic) Color: Red pearl This Subaru Legacy is the fun, all-wheel drive, turbo version of the car. It's also the limited edition with heated leather seats and a sunroof. The miles are incredibly low because I metro'ed to work for many years, so it was mostly only used on weekends. What makes this car great? Nearly every maintenance item was just done that you won't have to touch. Brakes, tires, timing belt all within the last few years. Pickup a very powerful car (250hp+) with all wheel drive for the winter. The good: - Tires have < 10k on them - Timing belt / water pump maintenance done 3 years ago - this is expensive maintenance ($700) that you won't have to do! - Brakes brand new - Tires bought last year and have only maybe 5,000 miles on them - Body in normal condition for age though has some dings and scratches for a model from 2005 - Clean title, no accidents - Maintenance was performed at all major intervals (30k service, 60k service, timing belt, all oil changes) - All wheel drive would be great for the upcoming winter! Work you'll want to watch for: - Temperature gauge started to bounce a bit on my way home from work 2 weeks ago. I topped off the radiator with a tiny bit of coolant and it had been fine since. Japanese auto care mechanic also leak/pressurei tested it and found no issues. No problems in the last 100 miles driven or so - hard to say, but maybe was just a loose radiator cap or an issue related to the 0deg weather. Overall you can buy a very low mileage car (75k miles!) for cheap. Shoot me a message if you're interested and mechanically inclined to inspect the overheating issue. I'll be adding photos soon. Photo used in this post is a stock photo. Body is generally in good shape with a little clear coat peeling on the spoiler and some bumper/quarter panel dings but nothing major If you're searching for these cars you might also be interested in my Legacy since it's also a powerful sedan: Volvo S60, Acura TL, WRX, Impreza, Audi A4, AWD, 4WD, all wheel drive
