It’s adjustable for the height. It’s spring loaded the top that white piece has springs in it so you could pull it down to adjust for the height of your sliding glass door in great condition. Our cat died so I’m trying to get rid of anything that has to do with our cat before she thinks about trying to get another one if I can get rid of this, and then I can tell her we don’t have the cat door anymore. It comes complete with the locking slide piece to block your pet from going out or pets from coming in easily fits a small dog through it. It was actually quite big for our cat.
