A very rare genuine piece of Sesame Street and Jim Henson history. Big Bird Ceramic Cookie Jar • Character: Big Bird from Sesame Street • Maker’s Mark: © Muppets, Inc. (visible on the base) • Material: Hand-painted glazed ceramic • from early 1970s • Muppets, Inc. was Jim Henson’s original production company, founded in 1958. It held the rights to Sesame Street characters until the late 1980s, when licensing became more divided between The Jim Henson Company and Sesame Workshop (formerly CTW). Highly collectible and increasing in value . Great investment!!!
