Vtg Murano Art Glass Footed Bowl Turquoise Blue Yellow Italian Hand Made!!

This is an exquisite piece of vintage art glass, made with the characteristics and craftsmanship of renowned Murano glassblowers. This lovely dish, sometimes called a compote or sweetmeat dish, features a striking opalescent blue body that glows beautifully in the light. • Color & Design: The main body is a vibrant, milky sky blue/opalescent aqua, contrasting with a subtle band of yellow/chartreuse color visible near the rim, a common and desirable feature in high-quality Italian art glass. The bowl sits atop a solid, applied clear glass pedestal base. • Craftsmanship: The piece is hand blown one of the photos shows a distinct pontil mark on the base, a classic sign of traditional mouth-blown glass and a good indicator of age and handcrafted quality. • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. There is expected wear on the bottom of the clear base (as shown in the close-up photo of the pontil) consistent with age and sitting on surfaces.
