Hi! I got married on Jan 5th in the beginning of the Sacramento storms. I walked on rain soaked concrete and took pictures outside. But despite that, this dress is so unique and so incredibly beautiful. I got lots of compliments, and it’s different from any other dress I tried on in stores. It’s got a more “natural lace”, truly vintage feel. I bought it off David’s bridal website for $399. It was a STEAL, however, I paid an extra $450 in alterations. I was a 5’2 bride and wore 4.5in heels. The sleeves were removable at first and have been sewn onto the dress, and shortened for my arms. I had it hemmed in length and a bustle added (to pin it up—although I did not do this, I used loops to hold it on my wrist). No alterations were done to the width of the dress. At the time of my wedding I was about 125lbs for reference. If this works for you and you’re willing to pay the cleaning fees, it’s yours and you’ll love it! It’s mainly the train and fabric underneath that has been muddied.
