Trying to sell my 1993 Miata. The car has about 181,500 miles on it. I didn’t have the car for long as I would’ve liked because I realized I didn’t have the funds to fix it up like I wanted to. Cons: 1. The big thing is clearly the paint. It’s a 30 year old car and the elements have destroyed the paint. 2. The interior is in decent shape but there is rips on the driver side seat and floor, as shown in pics 3. There is an idling issue where it stays up at just under 2k until it warms up. The place I took it to get smogged did something to it and the idle is better now but I still suspect the idle air control valve to be the issue. 4. When I bought the car the AC was working but now it doesn’t blow cold anymore. It also has oscillating rpms while in neutral with the AC on, I think that still has to do with the IACV but again not too sure. 5. Needs new tires 6. The radio doesn’t work. It does have Bluetooth so you can connect your phone to listen to music but the speakers sound blown out to me so I never used the radio. 7. The power antenna doesn’t work also. I found out after I bought it that it was disconnected but it still doesn’t work after reconnecting it. 8. Reverse lights don’t come on. I don’t think it’s the bulbs I have a feeling it’s the actual reverse light switch but I haven’t gone under to confirm that. Those are all the cons I can think of. I like to say everything that I see wrong with car because that’s what really matters. Other than that there are no leaks from soft top. The car never leaked water especially during the heavy rain we just experienced a few weeks. And it still feels nice to drive especially with the top down. The pop ups work, however one day the left one was sticking not sure why but that stopped happening and they are working fine again. The car turns on and gets me from point A to point B with no issues. If you have any questions just let me know and I’ll try to answer as best as I can.
