A great piece of early 20th-century Americana and displayable WWI memorabilia Second item: Friday Magazine – March 14, 1941 – “Thyssen Confession Exposed!” Hitler WWII Era Description: Original issue of Friday: The Weekly Magazine That Dares to Tell the Truth!, dated March 14, 1941 (Vol. 1, No. 20). The bold cover story, “Thyssen Confession Exposed!”, features German industrialist Fritz Thyssen, once a financial backer of Hitler. Articles inside cover: • Secret Plan to End the War • Thyssen Confesses • Labor and Hollywood features A scarce publication founded by investigative journalist George Seldes. Friday ran for only about a year (1940-41), making surviving copies hard to find. • Original price: 10¢ • Condition: Some cover creasing, edge wear, small tears, and handwriting on cover.
